In the
Gospel today, God reminds us that when we encounter problem, all we need to do
is to have faith. Many times in the bible have God said that “Your faith has
healed you.” So definitely if we believe in God, anything can happen.
For
those who are sick right now, just hold on to your faith and surely God will do
something for you. A lot of us know the familiar saying that says “A prayer can
move mountains.” If we want something, all we need to do is to pray sincerely
to God. And if that thing will not do us any harm, then surely God would reward
it to us.
I have
also realized that we need to confess to God our sinfulness just like what the
Centurion did in the Gospel. He accepted that he is a sinner. It is true that
no one is perfect in this world. We are not worthy of God’s love and grace for
we sin. But, that’s how BIG God’s love for us. He accepts us and loves us even
if we are unworthy.
