Upon reading the article, I was not
quite surprised why the officials in Vatican decided to create a social
networking site since in today’s world, social media is among the easiest and
fastest way to connect with people. Almost all of us today are a member of one
or more social networking site. The Vatican has also seen this number which is the reason why they have decided to build the site the called as the ‘Aleteia’. In Greek, the meaning of this word is ‘truth’.
God is definitely The Way, The
Truth and The Light. Everyone should know about this truth and the church played
a big role in making this Truth know to a lot of people. For this move of the
Vatican is a good way of answering the questions that most Catholics have
especially those who have a lot of doubts with their faith.
Since a lot of people enjoy
Facebook and other sites thought it’s quite useless. Aleteia would surely be a
good online place for every believer to be in.
